StingRay Guitar RSは、ネックに厳選したローステッドのフィギュアード・メイプルを採用した2ハムバッキング・ピックアップを搭載したモデルです。
フレットは硬質なステンレス・スティールを使用し、フィンガーボードは、ボディー・カラーによって異なるローステッド・フィギュアード・メイプルまたはローズウッド採用しています。(ステルス・ブラックのみスタンダード・メイプルにエボニー・フィンガーボードを採用。)
ボディー材には、アフリカン・マホガニーを採用し、ピックアップはメタル・カバードのカスタム・ワウンドのハムバッキング・ピックアップをマウントし、3ウェイ・トグル・スイッチを装備しています。シャーラーのM6-INDロッキング・チューナーとヴィンテージ・ベント・スティールのサドルを採用したカバー付きのモダン・トレモロの装備により、チューニング・ディフェンスの高いトレモロ・プレイにも対応するなど、ヴィンテージなルックスと現代の技術を融合させたギターです。
